Mayor seeks resumes St. Mary Hospital Board of Advisors

News flash!!  The following appeared on the Hoboken City website: "Hoboken Mayor David Roberts is inviting residents interested in the future of St. Mary Hospital to submit resumes to serve as community representatives on its Board of Advisors."

What a great idea, Mayor!  Let's not stop there, let's take it to the next logical level.  How about inviting residents to submit resumes to serve on all City boards? 

For instance, the City could post the following "board" vacancies on the Hoboken website: 

"Hoboken Mayor David Roberts is inviting residents interested in the future of the City of Hoboken to submit resumes to serve as community representatives on its Planning Board."

AND

"Hoboken Mayor David Roberts is inviting residents interested in the future of the City of Hoboken to submit resumes to serve as community representatives on its Zoning Board."

I am sure you get the idea.  Nothing like complete OPEN, TRANSPARENT GOVERNMENT.
